The cacophony inside the migrant workers mind dwelling on which side to choose ?? The call from home to be with the loved ones at the time of crisis or stay back in the land which provides bread and butter for the loved ones ??
Keeping on walking through the dusty highway, the murky streets... And my body wants to give up, bowing down to the impending fatigue Checking my stock of a few bottles of water and three packs of biscuits’ for eat Living behind the city, the lost livelihood, with teary eyes holding on to my wavering feet… With a few reserves in my pocket as I see passer-by’s trudging onwards home. To reunite with family and loved ones, to be together fighting 'The Unknown'… Some frantically paddling cycles, some on bare feet bending on their sticks, No time to rest - day or night, keep moving on enduring all uncertainty & risks… As I move on and keep praying earnestly, hoping this to end soon… And back to my countryside, with family around – to gaze at the smiling moon!
